Our client, a high profile national Chartered Accountant and Business Advisory firm, has a exciting opportunity for an experienced Audit Manager to join their team. The role can be based at their Aberdeen, London, Glasgow or Edinburgh office.

As a Senior Manager, it is your role to ensure that, together with your team, you provide a high standard of technical service to clients, ensuring accurate and timely delivery in line with client requirements. With responsibility for the development of your team, together with their financial and operational performance, this is a key role in the management of the business. You also have a responsibility for the future growth of the firm, especially through the leading edge opportunities arising for your area of specialism. You will be effective in the introduction of our services to your business network and to the wider market.

Technical Tasks include but are not limited too:
- Oversee and support the team in all aspects of a client portfolio, ensuring all client deadlines and demands are met by the wider client engagement team
- Take ownership of client portfolio, continue to strengthen relationships with clients and their wider professional network to ensure satisfaction with services provided, working alongside client’s advisors and identifying opportunities to support clients
- Take ownership and responsibility for delivery of all aspects of client work from start to finish by the client team, in relation to any audit and accounting support required, on budget
- Perform detailed audit work as required, particularly work of an advanced technical nature, support staff with finalisation of audit clearance queries and produce detailed advice and recommendations for partners and clients

Required Knowledge and Skills
- Excellent organisational skills
- Strong communication skills – both written and oral
- Knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and relevant software packages
- Attention to detail
- Problem solving skills
- Working knowledge of relevant legislation and industry best practice
- Strong commercial and market awareness
